If you are not inclined to read through all of this, please skip to the bottom and read at least the last paragraphs.

Today is a sad day. Socialism has found its way into the most powerful seat in the world, the oval office. I do not know how many bad things will come of this, but I know that some of our worst fears will soon be revealed to us in the form of governmental control. I predict that once Obama gets his taxes on the oil companies passed that we will once again see high gas prices, but higher than they have been in even the past year. I fear that we will have a nearly 20% income tax (total) and that this will be used for more nonsense federal government programs that do not help 98% of the people in this country. I predict that if Obama gets his way, we will have gun control laws, but not simple and sensible laws, oh no, they will be wild and restrictive laws.

Yes, the American people have elected an, inexperienced, socialist, unpatriotic, self-absorbed fool who hates America. He has not even served one term in the senate. How is he supposed to run the country, nix that, the world, without any experience? He makes Hilary Clinton look like a shining gem of wisdom. He does not put his hand over his heart when out national anthem plays because he does not love America. The president is supposed to be the utmost patriot, the leader of citizens. Obama would not even wear a flag pin on his lapel. His wife even told the world that she has never been proud of America, until her husband started running for president. She said this in front of the world. Does everyone not understand that these people hate America, hate Americans, and want to destroy everything we have built and remake it in the name of Obama?

I have always been proud to be an American. I may not agree with how things work here, but I know for a fact that my status give me the chance, the ability, to change how things are working in our country. I also know that as an American, no matter how bad my situation is in life, it is almost certainly better than most people’s in the world. Life is good here. Our society is not some horrendous thing that needs to be discarded and replaced with a new socialist one. Our society is great and can use some work to make better, but as it stands it is just fine. We do not need nor will we ever need Socialism to help carry us, as Americans, though anything.

The people who vote for Obama and accept his views do so blindly. Some think that because they do not like McCain they should vote Obama. Wrong! Some think that Obama will give them free money. Wrong! Some think that Obama will save the world. Wrong! Just because you do not like someone, never turn to the opposite end, which shows blind ignorance. If anyone promises you something like money from the government, just know that the price you pay is freedom. If anyone says they can save the world, they really mean they will put a veil over your eyes to prevent you from seeing the truth of how they are taking away your rights.

America became independent because the government was trying to take too big of a hand in our affairs. I hope that you people remember that part of history. The Boston Tea Party seems to be a concept long lost on most of America. Allow me to refresh. The patriots tossed the tea that sat in the harbor overboard because they refused to pay such egregiously harsh taxes. They knew that if they let the government push them around and abuse them they would ultimately end up defenseless against the power above them. They did what they had to, they stopped the right violations by breaking away from that authoritative power and fighting against it. Our forefathers fought against a massive government because they understood the impact of what a government like that can do.

A very similar form of government is coming to rear its ugly head once again. We need to push it back. We need to stop it before it becomes a giant, before it becomes our death. We need to stop the federal government and the socialist liberal regime from taking away our rights behind the façade of protecting our liberty. No large government protects liberty; it protects itself and gains more power. This ultimately means that the people will stop being people and start being sheep, more so than they are now. They will stop acting for themselves; they will stop thinking for themselves. They will expect the government to give them everything, including money, thoughts, and opinions. I will not let this happen.

If you believe in independent thinking. If you believe in liberty. If you believe in freedom, and rights. If you believe in working for what you have and not accepting handouts like a beggar. If you believe in America, please invite your friends and support the Regressionalist party.

If you believe in Obama, socialism, high taxes, rights violations, absurd gun control, expanded federal government, and no end to thought control and lemming based censorship, and the rape of patriotism in the name of “change” then leave this group. You are not a Regressionalist. You are a fool.
